Position: Assistant Chandler and Retail Associate
Location: 200 E. Jefferson St. Franklin, IN 46131
Type: Part-Time
Hours: 10-15 per week
Starting Pay: $12/hour, with the potential for a $1-$2 per hour raise after 6 months based on performance.

The Role:
As an Assistant Chandler and Retail Associate, you'll play a crucial role in both the creation of our candles and the success of our retail operations. This position is perfect for energetic individuals who have a keen eye for detail and a passion for providing exceptional customer experiences. Your role will be dynamic, covering a range of tasks from assisting in the handcrafting of their custom candles to engaging with customers and driving sales on the shop floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist customers in all aspects of their candle making, including providing guests with proper materials and instructions,
- Engage with customers on the sales floor, providing knowledgeable recommendations and a high level of customer service.
- Manage inventory, restocking products, and maintaining an organized and inviting store environment.
- Process sales transactions and handle cash and credit card operations with accuracy.
- Participate in setting up displays and visual merchandising to enhance product visibility and appeal.
- Attend a mandatory, non-paid orientation session prior to store opening to familiarize yourself with our products, processes, and values.
Ideal Candidate:
- Energetic and enthusiastic, with a genuine passion for creating and selling quality products.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of craftsmanship and customer service.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage positively with customers and team members.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to the diverse needs of the role, including candle-making techniques and retail operations.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays as required.
